Regency period ebony and Boulle standish; the sides and drawer-front richly decorated with cut-brass foliate scrollwork on an ebony veneered ground, surmounted by brass pen-trays, a small central box, a pair of glass inkwells with brass Prince of Wales' feather caps and an acanthus-leaf handle; on cast-brass shell-and-claw feet.
