Rare George III period travelling trunk by William Judson of York; the aromatic camphor-wood box covered with red leather and trimmed with patterns of close-nailing within brass borders; the interior of the lid bearing the elaborate printed trade-label of William Judson, trunk-maker of Ousebridge, York who is known to have been working in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
