A Rare and Documented Elizabethan Elm Trestle Table. English. Circa 1600-1610.

This magnificent table is a rare survivor being made entirely of English elm.

It has a stunning colour and patination and can comfortably be sat at without the obstruction of stretchers.

The three thick beautifully figured elm planked top measuring 10.5 ft in length, which sits on a base with two substantial shaped elm buttress end supports with gothic arches to each end.

Both trestles connected by scratch moulded rails that are wedged by pegs through the trestle end supports.

The colour is stunning.
