Silver. Of rectangular form, a table snuff box, the hinged lid set with Emil Fuch’s 1901 silver medal commemorating the royal tour of the colonies by Duke and Duchess of York (later George V and Queen Mary) framed within a wreath of bound laurel leaves. Gilt interior, the inside of the lid set with a medallion struck with the inscription 'TRH Prince of Wales & Victoria Mary Princess of Wales / India 1905-6’. Maker’s mark of Elkington & Co. Hallmarked London 1905.
