Set of Six Plates.

The set of plates with a gilt ground and each is beautifully decorated with a different large named seashell in black and white.
The named seashells include Buccina Tortilla, Rhombus Stryatus, Buccinum Magnum, Pecten Variegatus, Buccinum Horridum, Pectuntulus Adriaticus.
Dimensions: 10 1/4 inches diameter x 1 inch high. (26.04cm diameter).
Mark: Each with the typical paintbrush and hand above FORNASETTI. Milano an a seashell with the name of the pattern CONCHYLIORUM below. All over a green undermark with a crown and H & Co. Below a gold 4 over 11. The green under-mark for Heinrich & Co. Selb Bavaria.
