Piero Fornasetti Ceramic Coasters Soli E Lune Pattern.
1960s.
The Piero Fornasetti ceramic coasters are each decorated with a different image of the Sun or the Moon. These were designed to hold a cocktail snack such as olives.
Dimensions: 4 inches diameter x 1/2 inch height.
Mark: The typical hand and brush with Fornasetti. Milano and Made in Italy below. Also the words "Soli E Lune" and a print of the sun with rays. Each coaster numbered 1-8.
