Antique English Pottery Pearlware Botanical Coffee Pot & Cover.
Circa 1820-25.
The pot is decorated with a beautiful band of large flowers and leaves- the leaves in blue and orange- above a line of blue. The blue line is repeated on the rim, the shoulder and foot.
The pot rises from a flat domed foot, narrowing to a waist then forming into an ovoid shape with a long narrow spout and a tall handle rising from opposite side.
The large domed cover sits within a well at the top of the pot and is also decorated with a blue line at the rim and a band of flowers and leaves. The finial is raised into a blue flower.
Mark: there is a 7 in brown script.
