Paul Storr Fiddle and Thread Pattern Silver Soup / Serving Ladle.
A very good quality large silver ladle made in 1811 by the Royal Goldsmith Paul Storr in the Fiddle Thread pattern. It is engraved with the original family crest of a Moors Head and has a circular bowl. It is in excellent condition and of the very heavy gauge of silver that one would expect from the preeminent silversmith of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
