Pair Staffordshire pottery Spaniels, circa 1840. The seated dogs, having separate front legs, and painted with liver coloured spots, feathered at the edges.
They wear gilt collars and lockets, and are seated upon oval mound bases, each with a single gilt line to the front.
Height – 13 cm, 5 1/8”.
Width – 10.2 cm, 4”.
Depth – 5.5 cm, 2 1/8”.
Condition – Typical age related wear to the gilt. No damage. No restoration.
