A pair of miniature Japanese Satsuma vases signed by Yabu Meizan. (Only one shown.) Both vases are decorated with boughs of a Japanese maple tree and side by side, one vase depicts a macaque hanging from the tree, starting across at his prey to the second vase where a bird is unwittingly flying towards him.
