Painted snuff box with Erotic scene. A naive painted Papier Mache snuff box of a soldier and Sailor. Well painted in oil in a Naive manner. The inside of the lid has what looks to be a ‘reverse’ painted erotic scene of a man and woman on horse back in ‘the’ act. All in excellent condition throughout. Circa 1860-70
