A fine Nantgarw porcelain dish, c. 1815. Delicately hand painted to the centre, with a spray of flowers, and three insects. Within an elaborately gilded border of continuous stylised shell, scroll and floral motif.
The reverse unusually painted with moths, covering minor firing blemishes.
Impressed ‘NANT-GARW, CW’ to the reverse.
Diameter - 23.2 cm, 9 1/8”.
Condition - Some minor wear to the gilding - please see images. No damage. No restoration.
