A lovely moonstone and sapphire pendant set in silver. The pendant is unmarked but is confidently attributed to Arthur and Georgie Gaskin, the important Birmingham School jewellers.  The condition of the pendant is very good and the moonstone deep with good colour.

For further information on the Gaskins and similar designs to this see Elyse Zorn Karlin, “Jewelry and Metalwork in the Arts and Crafts Tradition” and “Arthur and Georgie Gaskin” a catalogue by Cheltenham Museum, 1981.
