Agate silver pendant attributed to the Artificers Guild.
A lovely agate and silver pendant dating to circa 1905. The quality of the silver necklace is excellent and the agate has a particularly fine translucent orangey colour. The pendant comes in its original faux shagreen box The pendant, and box, have all the qualities of a piece by Edward Spencer for the Artificers Guild. I have also identified a John Paul Cooper pendant with near identical chain to this piece, see image. Cooper did work for the Artificers Guild in its early years.
