Dating to about 1740 and probably from Tregynon in mid Wales, this oak dresser base has a moulded edge top above three cock-beaded drawers, four elegantly turned front legs and a potboard. The ogee arch apron and turnings are typical of dressers from Montgomeryshire. Excellent rich colour and patination.
