A fine Meissen porcelain model of a Cockatoo, c. 1870. The bird beautifully modelled, with its head feathers raised, and perched upon a tree stump. The details finely delineated, and heightened in gilt.
Underglaze blue crossed swords mark, and incised number ‘57B’.
Height - 26.4 cm, 10 3/8”.
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
