A large and impressive 17th century embroidered panel, Italian, circa 1650-1680.
The joined panels profusely worked in vibrantly coloured silks depicting birds amongst fruits and flowers surrounded by scrolling, beribboned foliate branches on a golden yellow embroidered ground.
