A Very Good Quality Georgian, Chippendale Period, Mahogany Side Table Of Serpentine Form, Having Well Figured Top And Long Frieze Drawer With Original Brass Handles, Raised On Elegant Square Chamfered And Moulded Legs.
This beautiful 18th Century Serpentine Side Table is a great example of Georgian practicality and elegance, combined with great form and function.
It retains an excellent colour and patina which compliments the excellent choice of figured timber which was used for it's construction. The serpentine shape of course adds further elegance and sophistication and it really would be a great solution to a whole host of different spots around both the home and office.
Clearly it has been well loved and looked after throughout the years of its life as it remains in excellent condition and retains original brass handles.
As with all items we offer for sale it has been attended to in our workshops by our skilled antique furniture restorers, where it has received a general clean, tidy and natural wax polish before being offered for sale.
