S & S Timms Antiques has been established for over 35 years, specialising in high quality English town and country furniture.
Director Robbie Timms is a fourth generation dealer, and follows in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Robbie's great grandfather was a founder member of the British Antique Dealers’ Association early in the 20th century.
S & S Timms Antiques
The present business, S & S Timms Antiques was actually formed by Sue and Steve Timms in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, in the late 1970s.
For many years their shop was a regular call for other dealers and interior designers, looking to source quality goods.
As the antiques trade evolved over the years, naturally their business also had to change and develop into the business it is today.
Robbie is the son of Sue and Steve Timms and joined the business at the age of just 16 in 1998. Sadly in 2007 Sue passed away at a relatively young age.
However, despite their loss, Robbie and Steve have continued to drive the business forward, becoming a well-known name on the antique fair circuit.
Currently S & S Timms offer a carefully chosen selection of high quality English town and country furniture for the home.
Stock can be viewed on their extensive website, at many national and international fairs and by appointment only at their trade warehouse in Bedfordshire.
