A very good quality late 18th century George III period Mahogany Oval Breakfast Table, having well figured oval tilting top with crossbanded decoration.

Raised on elegant barrel turned central column which terminates on four elegant splayed legs with original brass castors.

Large antique georgian oval tables that are in good condition and original like this one are incredibly difficult to find.

A comfortable 8 seater, it fits into a variety of different rooms and allows all parties at the table to feel like they are in the centre of the room.

Many breakfast dining tables that profess to be 18th century and georgian actually started there life as large oblong tables and have been shaped to make an oval at a later date, due to the fact it is so much more desired as a dining table option.

There is however no doubt whatsoever that this table started life the same shape as it currently is. It is also nice and sturdy and very much still fit for its original purpose.

A fabulous and practical dining table which can be used not just to entertain but also on a daily basis.

Circa 1790.

Height - 27.5in.
Width - 60in.
Depth - 53in.
