A George III oak tripod pedestal table.

An interesting George III oak tripod table of standard design but unusually it has an oval top and was clearly made like this as one see how the shape was marked out under the top.

It has a tilting top with its original mechanism, a vasiform stem and excellent medium colour. The top measures 14 inches x 18 1/2 inches across the top and it is 26 inches high.

A very similar table sold recently at The Oak Interior sale at Bishop and Miller and it fetched £1000!
