George III bracket clock.
A fine George III mahogany veneered cased bracket clock or table clock. Engraved on the silvered dial and the brass back-plate, Johnson, Grays Inn Passage.
The clock has a top carrying handle. Silvered and engraved disc dial with Roman numerals and Arabic minutes. A smaller subsidiary disc dial for strike / silent.
8-day movement on a bell, with a pull repeat.
Beautifully engraved back plate. English circa 1785.
