A patinated bronze French early 19th century Sunflower clock incorporating an inkwell.
The white enamelled clock face and watch movement are set within the sunflower or tournesol and the flower stem is entwined by a gilt bronze serpent. The oval base is surmounted by a pierced basket gallery.
The interior is fully fitted as an inkwell or encrier.
