Good set of six GEORGE II sterling silver Hanoverian dessert spoons.
Maker: James Tookey. London 1754.
These spoons have a very attractive elongated almond shaped bowl. The hallmarks and makers mark are firmly struck on the reverse of the stem. The contemporary crest of a meridian sun with a plant on either side is engraved at the top of the stem and is extremely charming and well executed.
