A George II Norfolk chest of drawers.

A lovely little chest of narrow proportions with a deal top with broad chevron veneered cross banding and a central inlaid diamond. It has four small drawers and three long drawers all veneered with walnut with cross banding and herring bone inlay in ash and with good thin oak drawer linings.

The sides are in well patinated deal and it stands on walnut veneered bracket feet. Although very much a country piece and with restorations, it is a charming and very useful piece of furniture. Circa 1730. 28 1/2 inches wide x 16 1/2 inches deep x 35 inches high.
