A Fine Chinese Export Reverse Glass Painting of a Court Lady Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, 1736–1795.
Painted with a lady wearing a fur-lined winter robe, a bird perched on her left hand, a dragonfly in the other, all before a marbled table screen, beneath a blue and gilt curtain, the fringe highlighted in gilding, original Chinese rosewood frame.

Where the author recounts that the paintings bear an inscription relating to the Grave family, who were close friends & business associates of a Director of the Swedish East India Company, Claes Grill.
