The three torcs are each beautifully made from thick graduated solid bronze which has been twisted to form an attractive and very even spiral.
These remarkably preserved and elegant engraved Bronze Age penanular torcs would have been worn around the neck by high status individuals in the pre-Roman Celtic tribes inhabiting Northern Europe.
