This English earthenware baking-loaf dish features a remarkable comb decoration with a creamware slip applied over a rich brown ground. A rare example illustrating the artistic competence of rural potters in the late 18th century.
Dimensions: 12 inches wide, 15 inches long.
Current Condition: Signs of some historical wear related to age and use.
