English Pottery Green-glazed Leaf Plate.

Possibly Brameld, Yorkshire.

Pearlware.

Circa 1820.

The plate is moulded in a spiral overlapping leaf design with a green glaze.

While unmarked, this type of ware was often made at Brameld, Yorkshire.

This plate was most likely produced between 1806 and 1825 under the Brameld brothers operation at the Rockingham Works near Swinton, in South Yorkshire.
