English Pearlware Botanical Plates Depicting Stylized Daisies.
British Pottery.
1820.
The folky painted plates have a scalloped rim. In the center of each plate is a large purple flower head with a yellow center and a green leaf and stem, most likely stylized daises.
Around the border is a band of blue within thin black lines with a series of closed flower heads facing inward in pink and black. These are very charming and striking.
Mark: Impressed five leaf clover.
