Redware Pottery

English Large Red-Glazed Earthenware Engine-turned Teapot & Cover

The large redware teapot & cover is decorated with wavy lines alternating with bands of diamond shapes.

Two tiny frits to the shoulder of the pot (see photo) and similarly to the interior flange on the cover and a small discolouration to the interior and hairline to base and part of side.
