The creamware pottery comport with cover was made in the late 18th century period in Staffordshire or Yorkshire England. The piece is unusually large in this pedestal form, the cover has a reticulated decoration at the rim and crowned with a beautifully formed flower head finial. In clean, crisp condition, together with a large scale, makes a highly decorative statement.

Dimensions: 12 inches high

Current Condition: Fine unrestored condition with only minor historical wear at the rim of the base.

Provenance: Collection from an English Knight of the realm.
