Tea Caddy Having Very Attractive Fan Inlaid Decoration
To Lift Up Lid And Oval Inlaid Panels To Sides With 
Working Lock And Key

(Tea was of course a precious commodity in the 18th century and   
tea caddies were used to both preserve the tea leaves,  
but also to lock it away and protect it from any wandering  
hands. This was a lovely example, constructed from attractive
satinwood with elegant decoration. The overall condition is good
and it comes with a fully functional lock and key)
