A rare and very good quality English Regency period mahogany Tea Caddy.

In the form of a miniature serpentine sideboard with lift up hinged lid and carved decoration.

This unusual piece is a combination of both a piece of miniature furniture and a tea caddy.

Almost certainly designed in this way to disguise the fact it is vessel for storing the expensive commodity of tea.

It is a most collectable and charming piece of English regency design.

Circa 1830.

Height - 9.5in.
Width - 16in.
Depth - 6in.
