Early 19th Century Pearlware Pottery Stirrup Cup of a Hound.
Circa 1820.
The charming pearlware stirrup cup depicts a fox hound with a yellow collar. The hound is naturally colored in black and white with some red whiskers around his snout. The neck in yellow depicts a collar. The underside is unusually decorated too which is not typical with the lower jaw in a brown-red color.
