An early 18th century oak North Wales dresser, the boarded rack with a moulded cornice above a frieze which is fretted with a central heart motif. The base has three fielded panel drawers above three cupboard doors with ogee arch fielded panels. The drawer knobs are original and the dresser has superb honey colour and patination. For a similar example but without the fretted frieze, see Christies auction 24th April 1997 lot number 280 estimated at £8000-12000. Probaly Vales of Clywd circa 1730.
