Samuel Alcock & Co. biscuit porcelain bust of Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, c. 1835. The finely modelled bust, depicting the Statesman, dressed in Roman Emperor style, wearing a toga.
Set upon a gilt pedestal base.
Printed factory mark to the underside of the base.
Height – 22.3 cm, 8 3/4”.
Width – 10.5 cm, 4 1/8”.
Depth – 6.7 cm, 2 5/8”.
Condition: Light staining to the porcelain. No restoration.
