Charles II Silver Tankard 1673 Francis Leake of London.
A very fine Charles II period silver flat top lidded tankard made in London in 1673 by Francis Leake (sometimes spelled Leeke).
The tankard which was made by one of the most important silversmiths of the period is in excellent condition with fine hallmarks.
It is fully marked on the side and the lid with the makers mark struck to the handle.
