Tree of Life Pattern.
Circa 1818-1822.
The Chamberlain Worcester porcelain Tree of Life dinner plates are painted in an ornate and colorful pattern known as the " Tree of Life" pattern. The Japan pattern design depicts a central tree in an underglaze blue with a cracked ice design issuing extensive branches, flowers and leaves across the surface.
We also have a soup tureen and a pair of sauce tureens from the same service available for sale.
Dimensions: 9-5/8 inch diameter x 1 1/4 inches high.
Mark: Some with a red printed inscription below a crown: Chamberlains/ Regent China/Worcester/ & 155 New Bond Street/London.
