Antique Silver Art Nouveau Fish Knives and Forks Circa 1905.

A very beautiful and unusual jugendstil (art nouveau) fish service for twelve people made by Wilkens of Bremen, Germany.

This fine and unusual fish service is of excellent design and quality and forged using the German standard (.800) - 80 percent purity.

Art nouveau fish services are rare and this is of particularly good quality and weight.Wilkens are Germany’s oldest flatware maker having been founded in Bremen in 1810.

12 knives and 12 forks (24pieces).

The set is beautifully hand engraved to one side with the sinuous naturalistic designs so typical of the art nouveau movement.
