1920s Tubular Gold Cufflinks by A. Michelsen of Denmark.
A fine pair of large single sided square cufflinks with a textured tubular design. The eight tubes are in a basket weave pattern and have a wonderfully soft patina finish. In their original colour and condition with a stiff bar connection and a plain rectangular terminal. The bar stamped 14kt, AM for maker Anton Michelson and 585 (for 14kt gold). In their original case with the wording A. Michelson Copenhagen on the lid.
A. Michelsen were jewellers to the Danish Royal Family and Denmarks leading jewellers before amalgamating with Georg Jensen in 1985.
