Usually referred to as writing tables, these lovely tables are very versatile and can be employed for a number of uses such as work tables, small dining tables, display tables or to stand behind a sofa.
This example which probably dates to the middle of the 17th century has a wonderful one piece walnut top and a very attractive walnut lyre end trestle base with iron stretchers.
