Massive 17 1/4 inch English Saltglaze Charger.

The massive salt-glaze charger has a wide border of barlycorn or seed pattern within sis shaped panels with deep molded ridges around the edge of the rim.
Reference: "White Salt-glazed Stoneware of the British Isles", Diana Edwards and Rodney Hampson, Page 209, Fig 189, for an identical rim found in fragments from the William Greatbatch site at Lower Lane, Fenton.
