A fine set of twelve Italian silver underplates / charger plates (.800 purity) made in circa 1960 by the silversmiths Di Guerci and Company of The Via Donatello in Alessandria (near Turin) Italy. The plates which are in excellent condition are plain with an attractive shaped floral border. I have shown them in use with a late Victorian/Edwardian period dinner plate of 27.2 cms diameter (10.7 inches)
