Pair of Queen Anne Silver Candlesticks 1712 by Simon Pantin of London.
A pair of very fine Queen Anne cast Britannia standard candlesticks, with plain banded sconces on knopped panelled octagonal stems, onto square bases which have canted corners and welled centres. They are made in 1712 by the important Huguenot silversmith Simon Pantin.
The underside of the bases are engraved with the scratch-weight 29=10 Ye pair. A fine pair of early candlesticks by an important Huguenot silversmith in lovely condition.
