Yew Wood Windsor Chair.
High back windsor yew wood armchair with crinoline stretcher. I bought this chair locally and really like its original colour and condition.
Bernard D. Cotton illustrates a chair with similar back and legs fig. NE281/284 stamped by a Rockley, Nottinghamshire maker. He says that this design of leg was in use in until about 1835 when multiple ring leg turnings were adopted.
