Cobridge, Poppyfields Limited Edition vase, Marked 18/75 Underneath, 2000, 10” high.
Delicate, injecting the beauty and delight of poppyfields into the interior.
Great perspective with the detailing of the poppy flowerheads in the foreground of the meadow and the trees on the horizon creating the impression of space and distance. Hard to achieve this on a small piece particularly a vase with undulating surfaces.
Bearing the Cobridge stamp on the base. Designed by J S. Painted by Samantha Johnson; monograms on the base. Marked 2000.
