Finely figured three tier case surmounted by a hand carved pediment, rounded corners with boxwood stringing and caveto shaped base. Slender framed full length arch glazed door with conforming relief foliate carved scrollwork.

 

One piece enamel dial with Roman numerals and original ‘blued’ steel hands signed Franz Mosslinger In Wein’.

 

Eight day hand made movement of fine quality with original wood rod pendulum and four spoke brass pulley wheel supporting a small brass weight.  C.  1845
