The firm of Camerer Cuss was originally founded by two German immigrants in 1788 at No.2, Broad Street, London.  In 1867 the company opened a retail outlet in New Oxford Street.  Over the years several shops opened in London. The new Oxford Street shop finally closing in 1983. The company was known for producing fine quality clocks and watches.
