Victorian Turquoise 5 Stone Carved Half Hoop Ring, circa 1890.
A stylish late Victorian turquoise 5 stone ring.
This classic design has 5 graduated cabochon turquoise stones each closely set with a tiny rosecut diamond (known as a diamond point) set on either side.
The turquoise are mounted into a beautifully carved half hoop design with scroll work decoration to the shoulders. This was a design very popular in the late Victorian and Edwardian periods.
The ring is veru low set to the finger typical of the era.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901.
Measurements: 6.7mm at widest point. Weight 4.1 grams.
